The movie adaptation of Tucker Max's decadent memoir I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell is shaping up, with several key cast members added. Matt Czuchry, late of Gilmore Girls, will star as Tucker Max in his first leading role. Jesse Bradford and Geoff Stults have been cast as his best friends and partners in crime.

The film is based on Max's sexual, social exploits, all of which were chronicled on his website and were eventually parlayed into a best-selling book. Max cowrote the script, which follows Czuchry through carnal conquests that end up threatening his friendships and his friend's marital future.

Bob Gosse will direct, with Keri Lynn Pratt also in the cast.
