Curiously named actor Rupert Grint, best known for playing Ronald Weasley, loyal friend of Harry Potter in the film franchise, is finding life after the acclaimed Potter series. The 19-year-old actor has accepted a role in the forthcoming indie flick Cherry Bomb.
The film, set for release next year, is about a trio of teens who embark on a weekend of sex and drug-centric debauchery. Things spiral out of control and become way more serious than the hapless teens ever expected. The film was written by playwright Daragh Caville.
