Christian Bale has responded to the accusations laid at his doorstep by his mother and sister, who accuse him of assaulting them in London over the weekend. Bale was arrested, questioned for hours by London police, and subsequently released on bail. The actor claimed yesterday that his family's allegations are completely false and he has not been charged with any crime.
Bale's mother and sister filed a complaint with authorities saying Bale assaulted them at London's Dorchester Hotel. His lawyer says he voluntary submitted to police questioning. Some sources have speculated that the Bales were arguing over a long-running family dispute and that the actor pushed his relatives, leading them to file the charges.
