    So Full of Love

    01/01/1978 | The Right Stuff

    All Music Guide Review

This was the biggest hit album The O'Jays ever enjoyed, even though it wasn't as aesthetically transcendent as Ship Ahoy. But it came at the right time; there weren't many great group albums being produced in R&B at the time, and that's what this really was, even if Eddie Levert took most of the leads. "Use Ta Be My Girl" was a triumphant success, while "Brandy" was the prototype album cut that became a hit through popular demand. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
