The band's first American LP, issued more than two years after they had put out their first British recordings, consisted of a dozen tracks selected from various U.K. mid-'60s sessions. It was a reasonable enough introduction to the band for those who hadn't heard most of those, an audience, which, at the time, included virtually all Americans. Along with their first U.S. smash, "Gimme Some Lovin'," it had several British hit singles: "Somebody Help Me," "Keep on Running," and "When I Come Home." The remainder was comprised of fair, though not great, covers and derivative group originals. [The 2001 CD reissue on Sundazed adds eight bonus tracks from the same period, the standout being the terrific little-known group composition "High Time Baby," and also adds liner notes about the band's origins.] ~ Richie Unterberger, All Music Guide
