    All Music Guide Review

Fabulous Fifties: Great Memories gathers nostalgic pop favorites like Elvis Presley's "Are You Lonesome Tonight?," Nat King Cole's "Unforgettable," and Paul Anka's "Diana." Most of the collection focuses on smooth vocal and instrumental pop, such as Pat Boone's "April Love," Eddy Arnold's "Make the World Go Away," and Morris Stoloff's "Moonglow and Theme"; the livelier tracks range from the fun (Georgia Gibbs' "Dance With Me Henry (The Wallflower)") to the forced (Perry Como's awkward "Juke Box Baby"). The album also includes Al Hibbler's "Unchained Melody" and tracks by Jim Reeves, Andy Williams, and the Ames Brothers, making it an agreeable mix of Hit Parade favorites. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
