    Rock Artifacts, Vol. 2 offers a nice mix of familiar hits and obscurities from the Columbia vaults. "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)," "Playground in My Mind," "Stir It Up," "Come and Get Your Love," "It Never Rains in Southern California," "Please Come to Boston," "I Can See Clearly Now," "Magnet and Steel" and "I Go Crazy" all sell the disc to a casual audience, but collectors will be brought in by such songs as Burton Cummings' "Stand Tall," Michael Murphey's "Wildfire," Chicory's "Son of My Father," the Addrisi Brothers' "We've Got to Get It On Again," the Arbors' "The Letter" and Cymarron's "Rings," all of which rarely appear on various-artists compilations.
