Complete Collection is a gigantic set of hundreds of rock & roll songs, from its humble beginnings to the end of the '80s. While a large percent of these songs are great songs, many classic rock songs are still missing from the set. The mystery of why certain songs are here instead of others can be boggling, as well as the order of the tracks. It is definitely good that groups like Public Image Ltd. get to rub shoulders with Huey Lewis, but they should not be so close to one another. Much of the underground music from all the represented decades is missing, as well as anything after 1989. While there is a plethora of fantastic music to be found on this set, it is by no means a complete collection, and in fact some discs barely have any recognizable music on them at all. Anyone looking to get a crash course in rock & roll could use this set, but be warned that there are numerous important songs missing from this collection. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
