The second volume of Collectables' Ultimate Jukebox Hits of the '60s is much like the others -- a grab-bag assortment. These compilations work best for wedding DJs and those who aren't too picky about having definitive compilations in their music collection. While these discs offer a fair representation of the time period being covered, the process in selecting the tracks for each disc was seemingly done with the aid of a blindfold. The second volume of Ultimate Jukebox Hits of the '60s hits upon frat rock (the Human Beinz's "Nobody but Me," the Music Explosion's "A Little Bit o' Soul"), Brill Building pop (the Exciters' "Tell Him," the Chiffons' "He's So Fine"), and the British Invasion (the Swinging Blue Jeans' "Hippy Hippy Shake," the Hollies' "Bus Stop," Gerry & the Pacemakers' "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying"). There are dozens of similar compilations available -- this one is hardly the worst or the best. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
