    All Music Guide Review

Between the Sheets, Vol. 4 is a compilation of late '70s and early '80s R&B and soul, primarily culled from the Columbia and Epic vaults. Although the material is a bit inconsistent, there a number of excellent cuts on the record, including Billy Paul's "Your Song," Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes' "Yesterday I Had the Blues," the O'Jays' "Let Me In Your World," Brick's "Don't Ever Lose Your Love," the Isley Brothers' "For the Love of You (Part 1 & 2)," Heatwave's "Happiness Togetherness" and Teena Marie's "If I Were A Bell." ~ Leo Stanley, All Music Guide
