If you are a fan of Bobby Rush's unique, chitlin-circuit brand of soul-blues, this live date -- there is no information on the CD or DVD as to where or when it was recorded -- is just for you This is one of those raucous, sweaty, greasy, and rollicking nights where Rush's trademark brand of funky soul, electric blues, wacky sense of humor, and good old-fashioned entertainment is in evidence from the opening grooves until the last bar. The sound is good, the performance is solid, and the DVD mirrors the CD with the exception of two tracks -- the CD has two bonus cuts, "Sue," and "That Thang," that sound as if they come from a different show. ~ Thom Jurek, All Music Guide
