    I'm Crying + 3 marked the Newcastle band's second EP appearance in France, from EMI/Columbia by way of Pathe Marconi. The screaming title track (in its standard edited form, alas) was as representative as anything the group ever did, while "Take It Easy" showed their slower R&B side and "She Said Yeah" quickened the tempo, especially on the instrumental break, showcasing Alan Price and Hilton Valentine's close interaction. And "I'm in Love Again" showed that Eric Burdon's range convincingly encompassed New Orleans R&B, as well as giving Valentine one of his best solos. ~ Bruce Eder, All Music Guide
