The second soundtrack of rock music inspired by the Showtime series Masters of Horror, Masters of Horror, Vol. 2 once again features a collection of tracks that lean toward a horror movie aesthetic. As such, the compilation includes such goth-oriented bands as Cradle of Filth, Seether, and Lacuna Coil. However, rather than only focusing on nu-metal groups with vampire fixations, Masters of Horror, Vol. 2 makes room for a variety of styles including the stoner-garage rock of the Eagles of Death Metal, the soft indie rock of Wax on Radio, and even the electro-dance of Asunder. For fans of the cable series or just those who like their rock with a bit of fake blood and creepy atmosphere, Masters of Horror, Vol. 2 is an enjoyably sanguine listen. ~ Matt Collar, All Music Guide
