While no single-disc collection could ever possibly include every track that his legion of fans would want included, this set does a pretty good job of presenting Elvis Presley's early RCA hits after he came over to the label from Sun Records. The big ballads are here, like "Love Me Tender," "It's Now or Never," "Are You Lonesome Tonight?," and "Can't Help Falling in Love," and while it's difficult to imagine anyone not being at least partially familiar with this stuff, this little compilation does a fair job of showing what all the fuss was about. ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide
