Artists like Boozoo Chavis, Buckwheat Zydeco, Clifton Chenier, Queen Ida & Her Zydeco Band, Michael Doucet & Beausoleil, and Doug Kershaw make spirited appearances on zydeco classics like "Jolie Blon," "Ya Ya," "My Toot Toot," "Zydeco Gris Gris," and "My Girl Josephine." The collection is an excellent place to start investigating this vibrant musical style, and also a great way for zydeco aficionados to have many of their favorites in one place.
