    Rhino's Millennium Party features the label's five Millennium Party discs -- Millennium '60s Rock Party, Millennium Classic Rock Party, Millennium Funk Party, Millennium Hip-Hop Party, Millennium: 80s New Wave Party -- in one slipcase box. Since there are no bonus tracks or new liner notes, this is really just a gift set, but it's not a bad gift set at all, since all five discs are good, solid party albums (with the Hip-Hop Party being particularly great). There are no surprises on any of the discs, but there are no dull points, either, and they're all very listenable. And any listener that wants all of these five solid collections might want to choose this set, since it has all five at a slightly more affordable price. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
