James Bond: Back in Action is a limited-edition collection of newly recorded score excerpts from the first seven films in the series, performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic. Bond aficionados will be particularly interested in the nearly 20 minutes of previously unreleased music here, including portions of the score for Dr. No that never appeared on the soundtrack. The familiar music is arranged in the form of condensed suites from each film score, which generally do a nice job of showing off the highlights from each. While it may not replace some of the original soundtracks, Bond Back in Action does make for a very good listen. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
