Rhino's Smooth Grooves: Smooth Jazz Vol. 2 collects pieces by smooth jazz pioneers and stars like David Sanborn, Bob James, John Klemmer, and the Yellowjackets. Grover Washington's "Come Morning," the Crusaders' "Standing Tall," Jean-Luc Ponty's "Modern Time Blues," and Lee Ritenour's "Countdown (Captain Fingers)" are some of the album's other highlights.
