Using his comedic gift of deconstruction, David Cross effectively invents and subsequently breaks new rules for tour documentaries with Let America Laugh. There's not much standup material, other than a few bits that can already be heard on Shut Up You Fucking Baby. The real meat of this disc is the behind-the-scenes footage, mostly shot by filmmaker Lance Bangs. Like a more coherent 200 Motels, the film explores the mental condition of touring.
